Marketing and Outreach in Elgin
MAFS Public Benefits Specialist Urvashi Bhatt went to the City of Elgin and the Human Resource department. She distributed the MAFS programs flyers in English and Spanish language in Gail Borden library, South Elgin, Indian Grocery stores, hair salons, doctor’s offices, Spanish mall, subway, etc. to spread awareness about the programs we offer. She also helped one homeless person and took him to the Social Security office, DHS office. The timely checks and interventions help MAFS to better serve Seniors and Immigrants.
