Family Day Picnic 2022
A picnic is the best way to get rid of boredom and summer is the perfect time for outings. UMAS held its fourth annual company Family Day Picnic on July 26th, 2022, at Busse Woods in Rolling Meadows, IL. The four groves place was perfect to enjoy the food as well as nature.
Prashant Kumar and Sagar Kumar along with staff (Kush Patel, Krunal Soni, and Jatin Patel, to name a few) took the charge of setting up a variety of entertainment options including the tents, inflatable attractions, face painters, Balloon twisters, clowns, and live music. We had booths like reception, Facebook gift cards, Verve Ware, and Assurance Wireless. The Pinata grabbed the most attention among all the activities available for kids and adults. About 400 people received a warm welcome and a gift bag with kites from the team. The children enjoyed a magic show that was put on by a magician, Nora, and Rainbow. A variety of food was served from Big Suchir and Trilokah, the Pars Ice cream truck was a hit as always.
Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthy, State Representative Michelle Mussman, and Village President Hanover Park Rod Craig joined our picnic. President of NIAASC Gunjan Rastogi, Founder Chairman NIAASC Rajeshwar Prasad, and Executive Director of India Home Vasundhara Kalasapudi also joined our picnic who came from New York and Florida. All of them praised UMAS for arranging the huge picnic for all employees with their families. The employee recognition and award ceremony took place by the Executive Director of UMAS Dr. Santosh Kumar, IT Director Prashant Kumar, Operations Director Sagar Kumar, Program Director Awilda Gonzalez, Board Members, Dignitaries, Managers, and Supervisors. The awards were given to the Pillars of UMAS, the Admin Staff, and the Homecare Aids (HCA) along with bonuses. The recognition is for the hard work and the dedication they put in throughout the year. The award ceremony was a big morale booster for employees, and they expressed their gratitude.
