NUTRITION PROGRAMS

Most seniors miss their traditional ethnic food from their homeland when there is nobody at home to cook for them and serve a hot meal during the day time. This program provides 50% of their daily nutritional requirement. Meals are prepared daily at our facility by trained staff who have passed the State Food and Sanitation licensing exam. The purpose of the congregate meal program is to provide nutritionally balanced ethnic hot meals in a group setting to break the isolation and to increase socialization. These meals are hygienically prepared and served at our centers. This program has been very successful, seniors are able to enjoy meals in a home like environment and develop new friendships. The meals are served from 12 pm to 2:30p.m.
